Nootan General Hospital
Nootan General Hospital provides ample clinical material to the students, enabling them to be conversant with multitudes of ailments, infirmities, diseases and treatments thereon. It is an effective way to inculcate the understanding of providing care and adequate treatment to patients.
Transportation
Nootan College of Nursing is easily accessible through roadways. Campus buses, vans and jeeps regularly circular along the Clinical areas as well for the clinical practice of the students. Safe and reliable transportation is always available to student’s round-the-year
Hostel
The hostel at Nootan College of Nursing has been designed keeping in mind a student-centric approach. It’s spacious and well-planned and is available for men as well as women .The hostel buildings are located within the campus and hence students always have a secure and tranquil environment to themselves. Special care has been taken to keep the hostel premises pollution and noise-free.
Library
The Nootan College of Nursing is home to a well-furnished, spacious and rich library with a separate reading room which provides a serene and noiseless atmosphere to the students for reading and research. At present, the campus library has more than 25,000 books comprising of almost 8,400 titles on various subjects of nursing. The library also has a subscription for more than 400 different magazines and journals. Out of these 272 e-journals are subscribed as per INDEST AICTE consortium scheme approved by AICTE. Free internet access is provided to the students. The entire collection of the library is computerized enabling issue/return function automatically by using the library automation software (ALICE for Windows) with a bar-code system. Index boxes, computer user terminals are also available in the library to search for books by author, title, etc.
Laboratories
Nursing Foundation Laboratory
Teaching methodology has been designed to inculcate conceptual and technical skills in students and is based on lectures, demonstrations, seminars, group discussions, practical training on patients etc. Efforts have been made to impart education and training through a methodology consisting of –
Without a solid foundation one will have trouble creating anything of value. Our air conditioned Nursing Foundation lab enables the students to gain adequate knowledge regarding basic procedures through which the firm foundations of the fundamentals of nursing will be laid down. To nourish the foundation our spacious lab is well suited with patient many simulators on which students will be taught the preliminary training of patient care.
Pre-Clinical Science Laboratory
Pre-clinical Science lab provides comprehensive knowledge of microbiology, anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. This lab is designed with excellent infrastructure, equipped with various specimens, models, slides and charts. Therefore, the students can have more understanding related to the structure and physiological process of various organs and systems of the human body. This lab also helps in developing deeper knowledge and skills among the students which will help them applying it on clinical and theoretical grounds.

Nutrition Laboratory
Nutrition lab facilitates learning by providing the faculty and students with the settings, models, equipment and supplies necessary to develop skills regarding nutritious diet for a patient. Our college has state of art nutrition lab with all modern amenities for teaching therapeutic diet for the patients. Students get excellent training in nutrition and dietetics during their course of studies.
Computer Laboratory
Our air conditioned computer lab is well suited and designed with latest computers with world class software enabling the students to match the pace of the world around them. All computer units share local area network.
