Eligibility Criteria:
- 10+2 passed with Science Stream (PCB) and English Core / English Elective with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board such as AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, or any equivalent board.
- Students appearing in the 10+2 Science Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with minimum 45% marks are also eligible.
- 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination, including English individually, from any recognized board.
- Candidates from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government are also eligible. However, Science stream candidates are preferred.
- 10+2 with English securing 40% marks in Vocational Stream – Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE Board / Centre is also eligible.
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum educational qualification required is B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience after completion of Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Passed the Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary / Intermediate / 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Candidates who have completed 10+1 on or before 1986 are also eligible for admission.
- Candidates must have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and be registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are also eligible.
